Thank you so much for visiting my website. I love hearing from readers, so feel free to leave comments.
I’m delighted that my book GOODBYE MY SON is now available in hardcover, paperback and Kindle editions. I wrote my story to honour Brian, my son, who became ill at 18 and died weeks later. I share our journey as a family with you, so you may understand the difficulties others face and realise just how much you can do to help yourself and others. I’ve always been interested in figuring out what choices to make and in learning from others who have travelled the road before me. I’d like to share what I learned.
I live in Cork, Ireland with my family. I’m retired from my work in the Environment & Sustainability Department in ESB Networks. It’s something that I really enjoyed, being aware of our Environment and helping to keep people safe as they work.
I graduated from IPPOSI and volunteer as a patient representative in areas relating to palliative care so we can work together to improve systems and services for patients and their families.
Participating in Voices4Care allows me to contribute from my experience to discussions that make improvements in future health care systems. Many opportunities arise through PPI Ignite and our Department of Health that include the patient and public voice, so I encourage you to share your knowledge and experience to benefit others.
Thank you for reading!
